'The English Summer' Fashion Show post show pics

These are the first few images of our show from last thursday, a big thank you to all who could make it on the night!

There will be more to come and also a film of the event will be made available towards the end of the week but for now these should give you a feel of it all.

The fantastic models are from Boss Model Management, they did a great job.

Thomas was a perfect venue for our english summer theme and the grey goose elderflower fizz cocktail, the perfect accompaniment. Many thanks to Nicky and Yvonne for hosting us.

We tried to convey an atmosphere of old world british opulence by projecting edited images of Women In Love, the 1969 film starring a very stylish Oliver Reed and Glenda Jackson into a gilt frame which then came to life on the models as they stood in front of it..

Hopefully to dramatic effect!

New accessories from Italy and England's finest silks...

Our new drop of accessories is with us and 'Macca' has done us proud once more...

As one of only a handful of purveyors of printed English silk hankies around, we have bought more of them now and they are more exquisitely colourful than before, see pictures.

Brand new to us and ahead of the summer / autumn season are our Italian knitted wool ties.

Coming in stripes of 6 colourways, the wool tie is something we will all be seeing more of come autumn so look out - you heard to here folks....!

Although of course it's nothing new, just ask your grandad but there is just something about the way the knot of a woollen holds that is distinctive and slightly bolder than a silk.

It's a small twist and another option for the gent with it all.

Available in a veritable rainbow of colours, we will be keeping these in stock all year round as they are easy to slot into any look, casual or formal.

Our new silks...

The results of our Macclesfield trip are with us and have added that splash of springtime colour!

We have hand rolled silk pocket squares in virtually every hue from our friends in Macca alongside exquisite ties and bow ties from Italy which match them perfectly.

These combinations have been fantastic for wedding parties but we still have an abundance of colours as shown in these pics.

The patterned hankies that we also ordered from Macca have all gone now but more of these exotic beauties will be with us within the next few weeks and pics will come asap.

We are liking the mix and match jacket and trousers looks that we were inspired by in our trip to Florence in January.
