Winter stock arrives.....part 2
Sebastian is our take on the hunting jacket, in dark navy flannel with 3 pleated pockets.
He's a versatile piece which will add a dash of military sharpness to a flannel shirt and knitwear with a scarf as easily as adding a casual edge to a more formal collar and tie/bow tie.
Or play with both looks, as we have here.
He is the epitomy of smart/casual for trotting around town, day or night!
All items available in store.....
The Cambridge sports jacket is made from the softest merino wool woven in Yorkshire and fitted neatly to the body for the winter's quintessential checked jacket. The slimmer fit is accentuated with the slanted pockets and added ticket pocket above the flaps which add definition below the waist, narrowing the silhouette. Our Prince Of Wales check wool is in a warm palette of deep brown on cream with a navy over check and with dark buffalo horn buttons. Team with dark denim or flannels with ease and dress up or down depending on your weekend requirements!
Everything from the collection 'Another Country' available in store, enquiries welcome.

The Bespoke Gentleman :The brand update - Doherty, Evans & Stott
We have been blogged!
Some pieces from our ever increasing Autumn Winter collection has been snapped by The Bespoke Gentleman's Jon Holt.
Fast becoming hot property in the menswear blogging world and being used to document some very interesting brands of late Mr Holt was keen to snap some of our new pieces after first covering our fashion show in July. Check out his blog above.
Mr Evans wears 'Yves', brand new 'Baldwin' flannel shirt in sky and a bespoke 3 piece suit in quite a vibrant brown donegal tweed, made in Italy. Enquiries welcome.

Thank you Mr Holt.

Soft flannel shirting arrival....
We wanted to further explore the concept of the formal/casual shirt with the aim of offering a shirt that really will slip easily into any dressed look. So it needed to be both subtle and elegant.
We think we have found it - in this cotton flannel fabric that is the softest we could lay our hands on.
The fabric does have to be felt to be fully appreciated but hopefully the tones of grey, sepia pink and sky highlight the natural graininess of the cloth clearly here.
Finished with our neat penny collar, minimal styling and mother of pearl buttons each one would smarten up denim and sit under a jacket cleanly.
We feel the mission is accomplished in the 'Baldwin' as a shirt which is at once soft to the touch and sharp on the eye.
Conceived and crafted in England as ever.

WRAP UP!
It really is that time of year again isn't it?
So, what could be more stylishly comforting than an English pure cashmere scarf?
Made in Yorkshire and with a beautiful depth and softness of handle.
We have sharp stripes and checks and aswell as the classic double faced style in many divine, contrasting shades like scarlet / aubergine and charcoal / puce.
There is also the Mr Goode, the graduated style which adds an edge of subtly different colours at each end as the mannequin shows. He is wearing his with Mr Bennet sweater in cora, penny collared chambray shirt and a green, navy, pink and purple tartan wool bow. Enquiries welcome in store.

A/W '11 New Knitwear
D.E.& S. proudly present our first ever collection of knitwear. Knitwear in it's many forms is a real passion for all 3 of us and we couldn't be happier with what we have our name inside! It is a small run for A/W featuring Yves - our shawl collar chunky cable knit in 4 colours and Mr Bennet - a wildly flecked donegal v neck in 3 colourways. A mini shoot was ordered the moment they arrived so Stott and Evans began loitering in 1 of the many Victorian stairwells, within Kendals.
D.E.S serves the conservatives!
D.E.& S. have gone blue for a few days for the conservative conference.
Well, it's more of a navy really to be honest as you can imagine...!
We have popped up at the GMEX, amongst M&S, Tesco and a few other independents with a small version of our concession to showcase a selection of our product.
It's going well so far, with our new knitwear getting interest aswell as our ties which stand out alongside some of the other more standard fare by the more traditional companies.
Fingers crossed for some decent interest over the next few days from the big boys.
(Special thanks to Mr John Rogers of lissomandmuster.com)

Esquire magazine - Best Dressed Man Final!
Thursday night at The Mayfair Hotel , London saw Mr Stott and Mr Evans enjoying the complimentary cocktails at the 'Winners Reveal' of Britain's Best Dressed Man competition in which Mr Evans was 1 of the final 12!
Victory was snatched from our hands on the night unfortunately but the worthy winner was our friend Dan Wood, who was a Gieves & Hawkes colleague of ours from Liverpool. Well done Dan.
It was an evening of much excitement, not least because the presenter of the awards was
Mr Patrick Grant.
A few new pics...!
"...These Streets"
Doherty Evans & Stott had the pleasure of lending a few of our key winter pieces for our friend Natalie Armin to produce these great photos. Here is a little Preview of "...These Streets" an editorial featuring Boss Models in a shoot by Craig Fleming with styling and art direction by Natalie Armin.

Autumn shoot preview with Jacob.....
Featuring a star of our recent fashion show, Jacob Crosby, we proudly present an evocative fashion story by hot Manchester photographer Sarah Jones.
Showcasing some of our bespoke and off the peg pieces styled by Lucy Hallard, we love how they sit so well in the grandeur of Platt Hall, Rusholme.
These images will hopefully be featured as part of a bigger story at some point soon, depending on which publication wants them so you
saw them here first!
We will of course be shouting about any features that do come about as soon as we know more..
Beautiful direction and art direction from Nick Simpson and grooming by Becky Smith.
Thank you to the creative team involved.
Jacob is represented by Boss Model Management.
Enjoy.....!
